Will you be able to remove all the stains from my vehicle?

We can’t guarantee we will be able to remove all stains with this service, however, we will always work to reduce the appearance as much as possible. There may still be a halo ring effect around stains post-treatment. We notice this commonly with seatbelts, which often stain with mold but are difficult to remove. Despite this, all of the mold will have been eliminated.

Do you service individual vehicles as well as dealerships and fleets?

Yes. We serve individual vehicle owners, automotive dealerships, commercial fleets, and any organization that needs vehicles to be clean, safe, and odour-free.

What types of odours can you treat?

We treat virtually any organic odour: cigarette and cigar smoke, pet odours, skunk, mold and mildew, food and beverage spills, fire and smoke damage, flood damage, and general mustiness. If you're not sure whether we can help, contact us — we almost certainly can.

Will the odour come back?

Unlike air fresheners or masking agents, HealthyCar treatments eliminate the source of the odour — the bacteria, mold, and organic matter producing it. As long as the root cause (such as a water leak) is also addressed, the odour will not return.

How long does a treatment take?

It depends on the service. A standard vehicle deodorizing and sanitizing treatment typically takes 2–4 hours. Mold remediation or full vehicle restoration may take longer. We'll give you a clear time estimate before we begin.

Are your treatments safe for my family and pets?

Yes. Once a treatment is complete and the vehicle has been properly ventilated, it is completely safe. Chlorine Dioxide and Ozone are both widely used in commercial food processing, water treatment, and medical disinfection. We follow strict protocols to ensure no residue or harmful by-products remain after treatment.

Is HealthyCar a mobile service?

Yes. In most cases, we come directly to you — at home, at your workplace, or at your dealership. Some treatments, such as full mold remediation, may require the vehicle to remain with us for a longer period depending on the scope of work involved.

Is a HealthyCar treatment covered under my new car warranty?

In some cases, yes. If your vehicle's odour or air quality issue is the result of a manufacturer defect — such as a water leak that caused mold — the treatment may be covered. We recommend checking with your dealership. HealthyCar works with dealerships across Canada to provide warranty-covered treatments.

Is HealthyCar insured to work on my vehicle?

Yes. HealthyCar carries full liability insurance. Our technicians are trained professionals and our treatments use EPA-rated, commercially approved products that are safe for all vehicle interior materials.

Will a HealthyCar treatment affect my new car warranty?

No. HealthyCar treatments are non-invasive and use products that are safe for all OEM-approved interior surfaces. We follow all generally accepted protocols and our work will not void your manufacturer's warranty.

Does HealthyCar offer a written warranty?

Yes. Every HealthyCar treatment comes with a written guarantee. If the odour returns within the warranty period, we will re-treat your vehicle at no additional charge.
